Hopefully easier, since all they will have to pay for is the ticket and not travel and lodging, if you were going out of town for an event. I learned a great deal from going to one in Chicago a few years back. I'm going if work is paying or not. I even asked for the days off once I found out, just so they understood that I really wanted to go, even though it was over a year away. @Russell
