I run a scissors across the CDs and I break open diskettes before throwing them out. There are artists who do creative things with CDs - wind chimes and the like, but where do you find them. I am just about done with the apartment and basement cleaning, sorting, and donating, hopefully by the weekend. I wanted to get it done and over with, since I had almost seven years to stuff build up, plus adding 650+ bottles of wine added to the mix. Now just have to put all the empty cardboard boxes out to be recycled. The garbage/recycle guys are just going to love me this Thursday morning.
